My 2016 Toyota HiLux was serviced at a Toyota dealership and they misplaced my service manual. I have tried dealing with them in person and tried to contact their service manager with no result. Can you help or put me in contact with someone at Toyota who may be able to progress this matter so that I can get a replacement service manual? I have corresponded with the dealership numerous times buy with no response. As you can understand, the loss of a service manual is significant with any vehicle.
You are right to want to get the manual back, and if the dealer is unwilling or can’t help them contact Toyota direct (1800 869 682) and request their help. At the very least the dealer should be able to give you a report on the service history of your car, which should help when it comes time to sell it.
