The Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) motor show in Frankfurt is always a cacophony of news as the biggest brands in the world gather together in one place to show off their latest cars and technology.
This year’s event was no different, with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and BMW all making a large splash on their home turf.
However, Land Rover was not to be outdone thanks to the reveal of its reborn Defender off-roader to rapturous fanfare, while Hyundai, Honda and Lamborghini put their bids forward for an electrified future.
